This small kitchen has a real farmhouse flavor. From the natural wood floors to the crisp subway tiles backsplash, the simple style is anything but simple. It took a lot of planning to make this kitchen look this incredible. Shaker cabinets on the bottom give way to open shelves (plumbing pipe construction) above the counters. Carrera marble counters, that is. The large windows allow for natural light and enhance the open feeling of the kitchen. Even the kitchen faucet is clean and sleek – and fits so well. The chairs are simple bistro style, in black. The table and chairs, the industrial lights, the cabinets and stairs pepper this bright and cheerful room with the perfect dark accents. But all work and no play makes for a dull kitchen – check out the trophy heads on the wall (above the bowl of oranges). Pure whimsy, mixed with pure genius.
